About this dot to dot

An elephant walking, trunk curled and tusks out. Small numbers and many legs to tell apart: a patient puzzle for 9 to 12 year-olds.

What’s in the PDF

  • Page 1: the puzzle, 57 numbered dots with the starting point circled.
  • Page 2: the finished picture, to check the drawing or to use as a colouring page.
  • Black and white, prints on A4 or US Letter at 100% scale.

The dots sit on the corners and turns of the picture only, so the shape stays a surprise until the last line.

Tip: print page 1 only to keep the answer a surprise, and use a coloured pencil so the line stands out from the dots.
