About this maze
The corridors in this maze run diagonally, like the stepped passages of a temple cut into a hillside, which makes the usual left-right habits useless. It is a diamond of about eight hundred cells turned on its point so it sits square on the page, for teenagers and adults. You enter at one corner and have to reach the treasure in the opposite corner. Twenty minutes or more.
What’s in the PDF
- Page 1: the diamond-shaped maze (40 × 40 grid, 840 cells), with Entrance and Treasure marked by arrows.
- Page 2: the solution, a red path 355 cells long.
- Black and white, US Letter with 18 mm margins, so it also prints on A4 at 100 % scale.
Tip: Turn the page forty-five degrees and it becomes an ordinary grid again; solve it that way if the diagonals make your eyes swim, then turn it back.
