About this maze

A maze in the shape of a rocket, with thick walls and a short route, for children aged about 4 to 7. It starts at the tip of the nose cone and finishes between the fins, so the whole trip reads like a countdown in reverse. Good for a space-themed party table or a quiet five minutes after school.

What’s in the PDF

  • Page 1: the rocket-shaped maze (11 × 13 grid, 56 cells), with Start and Launch pad marked by arrows.
  • Page 2: the solution, a red path 21 cells long.
  • Black and white, US Letter with 18 mm margins, so it also prints on A4 at 100 % scale.

Tip: Print two copies and race: one child each, same rocket, first to the fins wins. The short solution keeps the race close.
