About this maze
The biggest maze in the collection: forty-eight cells on each side, more than two thousand cells, and walls barely a point thick. It is for adults who have outgrown ordinary hard mazes. Allow half an hour, and expect to backtrack a lot: the generator favours long corridors, so a wrong turn can cost fifty cells.
What’s in the PDF
- Page 1: the square maze (48 × 48 grid, 2304 cells), with Start and Finish marked by arrows.
- Page 2: the solution, a red path 452 cells long.
- Black and white, US Letter with 18 mm margins, so it also prints on A4 at 100 % scale.
Tip: Print it at 100 % on good white paper and use a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil; a felt-tip pen will cover the walls and you will lose track.
