About this printable Reversi board
This printable Reversi board from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) gives you an 8x8 board, discs to cut out and a page of rules. The discs are dark on one half and light on the other, so you turn them around instead of flipping them.
Reversi is a 19th-century English game, sold today under the trademark Othello. Every move must trap a line of opposing discs between the disc you place and one of yours, and the trapped discs change colour, so a game can swing wildly in the last few moves. Our Reversi rules page explains the opening position, legal moves and beginner strategy.
How to use it
- Print the three pages and cut out the discs; coins with heads and tails also work.
- Place two dark and two light discs diagonally in the centre.
- Dark moves first. Place a disc that traps opposing discs in a line and turn them to your colour.
- With no legal move, pass. When neither player can move, most discs wins.
