About this sudoku book
Sixty tiny sudoku grids for children aged about 5 to 8: four rows, four columns, four 2 × 2 boxes, and only the numbers 1 to 4. Each puzzle has seven given numbers and one solution, and six fit on a page. It is the gentlest way into sudoku logic, and a quiet five-minute task for early finishers.
What’s in the PDF
- Pages 1–10: 60 4 × 4 puzzles, 6 per page (7 clues each), every one with a unique solution.
- Pages 11–15: all the solutions, with the given numbers in bold.
- Black and white, US Letter with 18 mm margins, so it also prints on A4 at 100 % scale.
Tip: Teach the rule as a question: ‘which number is missing from this row?’ Once a child can answer that, they can solve every grid in the book.
