About this sudoku book
Forty 6 × 6 sudoku puzzles for children aged about 8 to 12: six rows, six columns and six 2 × 3 boxes using the numbers 1 to 6. Each puzzle has 16 given numbers and can be finished without guessing. Four fit on a page. It is the step between 4 × 4 grids and a full 9 × 9, and it works well as a maths warm-up.
What’s in the PDF
- Pages 1–10: 40 6 × 6 puzzles, 4 per page (16 clues each), every one with a unique solution.
- Pages 11–15: all the solutions, with the given numbers in bold.
- Black and white, US Letter with 18 mm margins, so it also prints on A4 at 100 % scale.
Tip: The boxes are two rows high and three columns wide: point that out before starting, because children used to square boxes often draw the wrong lines.
