About this printable mancala board
This mancala board printable from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) draws the wooden board on paper: six yellow cups, six blue cups, a long store at each end and a sheet of green paper stones. The rules cover sowing, the free turn when your last stone lands in your store, and captures from an empty cup.
Mancala is a family of sowing games played across Africa and Asia for over a thousand years; this version, often sold as Kalah, is the one most people learn first. Our mancala rules page has the full rules, variants and tips.
How to use it
- Print the board on card stock. Beans, pebbles or glass beads beat paper stones.
- Put four stones in each small cup; stores start empty.
- On your turn, lift all the stones from one of your cups and sow them one by one counter-clockwise, including your own store.
- When one side is empty, the player with more stones in their store wins.
