About this printable Pachisi board
Pachisi is the national game of India and the ancestor of Ludo and Parcheesi. This printable Pachisi board from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) gives you the cross-and-circle track, four pawns in each of four colours and rules in the Parcheesi style: two dice, a five to enter, captures and blockades.
If you grew up with Ludo you will recognise almost everything. Our Ludo rules page compares the family and explains the simpler one-die version children usually learn.
How to use it
- Print both pages and cut out the pawns.
- Each player starts with four pawns in their nest. Roll two dice; a total of five brings a pawn out.
- Move counter-clockwise by the dice. Landing on a lone enemy pawn sends it home and earns a 20-space bonus, except on safe spaces.
- The first player to bring all four pawns home by exact count wins.
