About this printable Three Men’s Morris board
This printable Three Men’s Morris board from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) gives you the board, 3 black and 3 white pieces to cut out, and the rules, on two black-and-white Letter pages. It is one of four morris boards from the same publisher; the best known is Nine Men’s Morris.
Three Men’s Morris is the oldest and smallest of the family: a 3x3 grid of points and three pieces each, like tic-tac-toe with movement. All the morris games share one idea: get three pieces in a line, called a mill. Our Nine Men’s Morris rules page explains the family in detail.
How to use it
- Cut out the pieces, or use coins and buttons in two colours.
- Start with an empty board and decide who goes first.
- Take turns placing one piece on any empty point.
- Once all six pieces are down, slide one piece to an adjacent empty point along a line.
- Three in a row wins, whether made while placing or moving.
