About Kingdomino: The Court
The Court is an expansion for Bruno Cathala’s Kingdomino, illustrated by Cyril Bouquet and released by Blue Orange as a free Kingdomino print and play download in March 2020. It adds resources to the lands you already build: wheat, wood, fish and sheep. You spend them to place buildings and recruit characters from the royal court, who score at the end.
You need Kingdomino (with or without Age of Giants) or Queendomino to play. Blue Orange pitches it at families who already enjoy the base game and want a little more to think about, without a big jump in complexity.
How to play in one minute
- Set up Kingdomino as usual and put the small Court board above the rows of dominoes, with the first 3 tiles face up.
- Pick and place dominoes exactly as in the base game. When dominoes go into the line, add a resource to each square without a crown (swamps and mines give nothing).
- At the end of your turn, you may spend 2 different resources for a face-up tile, or 4 different resources for a random one from the face-down pile.
- Place it on a square of your kingdom with no crown and no resource. Buildings must go on matching land.
- Score your kingdom as usual, plus extra crowns from buildings and points from characters. The highest total wins.

- The file says not to print the tile and token pages double-sided.
- Glue the sheets to card stock before cutting so the tokens are easy to pick up.
