About this printable Nine Men’s Morris board
This Nine Men’s Morris printable from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) is the classic three-square board with 24 points, nine black and nine white pieces to cut out, and the rules, in black and white.
Nine Men’s Morris, also called Mill or Cowboy Checkers, was scratched into Roman tiles and cathedral cloisters. Players place their pieces, then slide them along the lines to form mills of three in a row; each mill removes an enemy piece. Our Nine Men’s Morris rules page explains every phase, and the same publisher offers three, six and twelve men’s boards.
How to use it
- Cut out the pieces, or use coins and buttons.
- Take turns placing one piece on any empty point.
- Then slide one piece per turn to an adjacent point; with three pieces left you may fly anywhere.
- Each new mill removes an opponent’s piece. Two pieces left, or no legal move, loses.
