About the 7 Wonders Duel solo mode
7 Wonders Duel is the two-player version of 7 Wonders, designed by Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala and published by Repos Production in 2015. Asmodee’s Print & Play site adds a free 7 Wonders Duel solo print and play: a file of solo rules and cards that lets you play the game by yourself against an automated rival. Asmodee does not credit the designer of the solo mode on the page.
This is an add-on, not a standalone game: you need the 7 Wonders Duel box to play. It suits owners who love the game but cannot always find an opponent. You can pick one of five opponents, each with its own strategy.
How to play in one minute
- Set up 7 Wonders Duel as usual, then prepare the opponent you chose with its solo cards.
- Take your turns as normal: pick an available card from the structure and build it, discard it for coins, or use it to build a Wonder.
- On the opponent’s turns, follow its card to see which card it takes and what it does with it.
- Military, scientific and civilian victory work as in the two-player game.
- Win as in the two-player game: by military or scientific supremacy, or with more points than the opponent when the third age ends.
What’s in the PDF
- One “Solo Rules & Cards” file listed under Add-ons on the 7 Wonders Duel page: solo rules and opponent cards for five opponents.
- Downloads open after you sign in with a free My asmodee account. We could not open the file, so the page count is not listed here.
- Print the cards in colour on card stock. Everything else comes from your copy of 7 Wonders Duel.
